A not for profit organisation The National Farmland Trust is owned by the general public, protecting our food source, for you the population and for the farmers of the future to enable them to be able to feed generations to come.

The Trust sets out to protect our food source by purchasing as much agricultural farmland/countryside as possible, thereby protecting much of our wildlife habitat.
Too much of our precious land is being used by big firms creating housing estates, business parks, industrial sites etc. The creation of new housing and jobs is important, but at what cost?
We find ourselves in an era with an ever expanding population, increasing the need for food from an ever decreasing amount of farmland, vital for our food source.
